Caravan & Motorhome Storage Terms & Conditions

1. Site Overview
Our secure compound offers:

  • Perimeter fencing and controlled access
  • 24/7 surveillance cameras
  • Designated parking bays for caravans and motorhomes
  • Site perimeter pest control

2. Agreement Summary
By storing your caravan or motorhome (“Vehicle”) on-site, you agree to these Terms. This is a storage arrangement only—your Vehicle remains your responsibility at all times.

3. Operator Responsibilities
We take reasonable steps to maintain a safe and secure environment, including:

  • Regular inspections and upkeep of fencing and access systems
  • Continuous operation of security cameras
  • Pest control around the perimeter fence, including mouse and rat bait stations

Please note: While we aim to deter risks, we cannot guarantee protection against theft, vandalism, weather damage, or other unforeseen events.

4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

  • Keep your Vehicle roadworthy and free of hazardous materials
  • Lock and secure your Vehicle at all times
  • Avoid habitation while stored
  • Refrain from major repairs or jacking up your Vehicle on-site
  • Perform only minor maintenance checks (e.g., battery or tyre pressure, oil level checks etc)
  • Perform only internal cleaning, re-stocking, and general preparation for trips and usage.

5. Insurance Requirements
You must maintain comprehensive insurance for your Vehicle, covering:

  • Theft, fire, accidental damage, and third-party liability
  • Accessories and contents, if applicable

Notification of insurance details is required before storage begins. Please provide:

  • Policy number
  • Expiry date
  • Insurer name

Updates must be submitted within 7 days of any change.

6. Access & Conduct

  • Access is permitted only during daylight hours or otherwise by prior arrangement
  • Do not share access keys or codes
  • Children and pets must remain supervised
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals for misconduct

7. Termination & Removal
We may terminate your storage agreement with 14 days’ notice for:

  • Breach of terms
  • Unsafe or abandoned vehicles
  • Failure to maintain insurance and advice of renewals
  • Failure to pay monthly fees in advance (before the 1st day of each month)

If terminated, you must remove your Vehicle within the notice period. Unclaimed Vehicles may be removed or disposed of under applicable law.

8. Liability & Indemnity
We are not liable for:

  • Loss or damage to your Vehicle or contents
  • Acts of third parties or natural events
  • Mechanical or structural failure

You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your use of the Site.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of our registered location.
